Answered Prayer and Great Expectations

Thank you for all your love and prayers, encouragement and support in this last season.  Great news!  Mary-Pat is off all tubes and has had a miraculous turn around.  Thank you for standing with one I love so dearly.  How she pulls off radiant and a photo shoot in ICU?  Dude... hospital food looks like it has improved since I was there last.

Please keep Jennie Joy in prayer as she is still recovering with friends in Uganda from malaria, mystery virus #243 (ie no one knows)  and a possible case of typhoid.

The latest with me... The doc here only speaks german and some details got "delayed in translation" until two days ago. It turns out that the reason my bouncing back hasn't been so bouncy this time is it appears I may have had some mild to moderate lung issues myself from the most recent malaria. There are concerns if I were to catch malaria again it could be extremely serious until my lungs heal. 

When this all started, He said this sickness was not unto death and so I believe every working thereof, even in damage done WILL be completely reversed. As I asked Him Monday afternoon for confirmation and that MP (Mary-Pat) would be off all tubes before or by Wednesday when I left, making miraculous improvements that astounded and confounded the docs, there was a freak gorgeous rainstorm while I was taking to a friend in the US with a bright double rainbow landing just outside my window. His promise remains unmoved. I will NOT be moved by what my eyes see.  We will step through His double portion promise!  So the news of her miraculous improvement was so encouraging on more front than one.  

I refuse to let an enemy attack or physical circumstances deter or define my call, but I DO want to be sensitive if Papa is saying the WAY I am walking this journey out needs to be adjusted in any way.  I believe we are being shown some strategies in this season really bring a greater release of God's heart in Sudan.  

We will not be led by what our natural eyes see. But we hear a call in this day to seek deeper revelation of what God is saying in the moment that shakes us out of any preconceived model. It is a season for our amazing indigenous family to step farther out in His dreams.  Of course this has been my heart all along that the Sudanese Bride would be released into the fullness of her destiny.  

The main issue for my health right now is not to get malaria and worsen the damage, so I am for the first time taking malarone as my next period in sudan will be for about a 2 month stretch, which is the limits thereof at one time with my other physical circumstances. Of course all the while trusting that Jesus supernaturally restores and kicks the devils butt for all the havoc he has caused in the last month. And we'll go from there. I can't wait to be home and I miss my babies so home can't come fast enough...

This whole season has been filled with revelation, wise counsel from the leaders surrounding us and great expectation of the Kingdom coming in even deeper ways all our lives.  Below is an excerpt from a recent word released in May by Chuck Pierce that was a great confirmation from Papa's heart as I read it last night.

The Lord says, "Let the sound of reformation come into you. Feel the brooding of My Spirit over you. My Spirit brooded over the confusion of the earth realm, and I can brood over your confusion. Fully submit your spirit to gain insight into My plan of reformation. Ministries are reforming. Lives are reforming. Cities are changing. Church gatherings are reforming. There is a cataclysmic ending and beginning going on in the earth that is creating My plan of fullness.

Aligned With Heaven

I have discovered I tend to live a bit of a prophetic life.  I am learning a LOT in this season.   We have this majorly important bone that connects our skull to our spine, commonly called the C1 vertabrae or the atlas bone.  It is the most important bone in our body.  If it breaks, you die.  If it is out of line, it causes all sorts of problems and throws everything else out of line too.

Jesus told me 2009 was a year, especially during the summer months of aligning and defining.  Aligned, defined, assigned in 2009 was the exact phrase.

I am in Germany getting over some major bouts of sickness from last month in Sudan and just trying to learn how to be healthy period.  One thing that we found out was my atlas was quite a bit out of whack.  Seeing as none of my spine is in line, it is not surprising.  But this part could be fixed easily and as it is the MOST important bone in the body, it seemed prudent to do so... 

They have this amazing guy here named Tom who very gently (no bone cracking) in one 5 minute sitting slightly presses the right spot while you shake your head and wallah it pops back in.  He places his fingers in the small indentations behind your ears as you move your head from side to side and there you go.  Oh, but that is when the fun begins Church- every other muscle, joint starts lining up (as much as possible in my case as all but 2 vertebrae are fused in place).  And that is spelled everyone's favorite four letter word to be avoided: P-A-I-N.

When it has been out of whack for a long time, there is a release of toxins that require drinking tons of water to flush out of the body.  Is it just me or is anyone seeing any parallels?

Yesterday Jesus began speaking to me how much of His Body (that's you n me) is suffering from disconnection from the head through an out of place atlas.  And because that is out of place everything else gets out of line too.  The pressure and shaking we are feeling is a call to let Him line us back up with Him.  But we have to agree to the process, we have to say yes to the shaking so the lining up can happen.

It is a critical season of aligning with heaven, aligning in relationship with the Head Who is Jesus.  The enemy desires to send a cancer of religion to completely eat away the atlas of the Body of Christ and disconnect us from relationship with our first Love.  This year I lost someone very dear to me because of just such a cancer in the natural.  It is time to radically allow the aligning process in our own hearts and lives... only when we are rightly aligned with Jesus can we be properly in place with one another.  Alignment has everything to do with hearing and connection directly with the One Who gave His all that we can be wholly His.  In one word intimacy. 

1 Peter 2:4-12

4 As you come to him, the living Stone--rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him-- 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 

And the results of the alignment process can be painful for a short time. We need to drink lots of His living water to flush the toxic stuff that has built up over time.  We are in a great season. Papa is just sticking His fingers behind our ears calling us to hear His heartbeat again, aligning us with Who Jesus is and the reality of heaven that all can be put in place for His glory to shine though us as His dearly loved sons and daughters and His Kingdom to come on earth as in heaven.

We are not easily reduced to prayer. We who grope toward praying today are like a city gutted by fire. The struggle against injustice has exacted from us an awful cost. In a similar period with similar struggles, Camus wrote, “There is merely bad luck in not being loved; there is tragedy in not loving. All of us, today, are dying of this tragedy. For violence and hatred dry up the heart itself; the long fight for justice exhausts the love that nevertheless gave birth to it…”

Unprotected by prayer, our social activism runs the danger of becoming self-justifying good works, as our inner resources atrophy, the wells of love run dry, and we are slowly changed into the likeness of the Beast.

A Resting Place

I am so blessed to be writing this from a small cow village in Germany in a lovely guest house run by people who exude the love of Jesus.  Papa is so smart- He knew exactly where to send me!  I am getting some wonderful counsel and understanding about nutrition and the things I need to do to get my body back online.  They have very advanced testing here that is amazingly accurate and noninvasive.  The doctors then use nutritional and natural solutions.  My digestive track appears from the preliminary results to be very much compromised and inflamed.  So I am on a special diet of very bland food (no more extra hot chili sauce- not for a while anyway!) and lots of juices. 

Apparently the digestive track has ALOT to do with your overall health- far more than I ever imagined.  I am learning all I can how to be healthy even in a place like Sudan...  It is important this body lasts for the long haul.  What is incredible is that this place, which defines beauty and rest, is completely built, run and managed by those who deeply love Jesus.  It is true biblical community and amazing to experience. Well I have homework of things to read, so I best get to it!   Much love and thank you for your prayers...

Meeting New Family

After leaving Alaska, I headed to a time in Holland to spend several days with new family there. It is always such a privilege to meet more people who are radically pursuing all God is and has for their nation and the nations of the earth.  It was a precious time of getting prayer and learning some more insights about the battle at hand concerning me personally.  Slowly (more slowly than I'd like!) my body is healing from the last month of attacks on my health.  Next it will be on to Germany to hide away for a week and learn all I can on how to get and stay healthy for the long haul.  Much love from Europe...

Alaskan Adventures...

Hold on to your Hat

Well it has been one of those months to well, hold on to your hat and press in to Jesus cause it was quite a ride.  One of our little princesses has the idea down pat.  Is she not gorgeous???? 

Shika baba (hold on to the Father) WHAT a month.  We had some MAJOR victories I am still grinning cheesily over:  we finally after a year long battle got our land documents for the longest lease they grant at present which is 25 yrs.  WAHOOOOO!  Our house of prayer is about 1/3rd of the way complete... 75% or more of the police department got saved at one time.

Add in battles with malaria and other health issues, assignments of the enemy and just the general conditions- well it was hmmm interesting....

I WAS very good and stayed in bed much of the time.  Much MORE than usual!  But the severity of the sickness and spiritual battle associated really made it feel like I was in a fight for my life. And I have since found out I pretty much was.

Alaskan Adventures...

I had a lovely time taking my mom on Catch the Wave in AK and meeting all the precious people Papa let me get to know from there.  It was a time of beautiful, albeit COLD, scenery, lovely people and fun learning about the native heritage of AK.  

I shared in a meeting in Anchorage that was SUCH a blessing after the boat ride- led by an ex cop turned nun turned revivalist.  It rocked. There was a refugee woman who was heavily involved in witchcraft from Congo in the meeting who didn't speak English.  When she started screaming manifesting in the meeting guess who gets voted to deal with things?  I knew that spirit- I see it many times at home.  So I went up to her to bind things from further distraction and give her a hug and before I even got a word out she decked me in the face.  No black eye though!  Leave it to me to get punched out by someone dabbling in witch craft from Congo in the middle of Alaska, hello!
