TODAY....SEPT. 18 2009

I took Today
for it was waiting for me
like everyday waits for us
but we are distracted
with thoughts of “should”
we forget to breathe
we forget to live
we are consumed
with that which is dead
Life is alive
and wants us to play
Life is a gift
every up and down
is part of Life's gift
to us
to live
a real life
So I took Today
because it was waiting......
